Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – Enishishop
1. What types of matcha do you offer?
We offer two exclusive types of premium Japanese matcha:
Kyo Ceremonial Organic – certified organic matcha with a strong, vibrant flavor, ideal for daily use and matcha lattes.
Uji Ceremonial First Harvest – a delicate, smooth ceremonial-grade matcha from Uji (Kyoto), made from the first spring harvest for maximum freshness and nutrients.
2. What is the difference between your two matcha types?
Kyo Ceremonial Organic has a bold taste and is certified organic – great for both traditional matcha and lattes. Uji Ceremonial First Harvest is smoother, more refined, and harvested in early spring – perfect for pure ceremonial preparation.
3. How do I prepare matcha tea?
Use 1–2 grams of matcha powder per serving. Add hot water (70–80°C / 158–176°F) and whisk in a zigzag motion with a bamboo whisk (chasen) until frothy. For a matcha latte, add warm milk or plant-based milk.
4. Is your matcha organic?
The Kyo Ceremonial Organic is fully organic certified. The Uji Ceremonial First Harvest is naturally grown without pesticides but does not carry a formal certification.
5. How should I store matcha?
Keep matcha in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. For best freshness, consume within 30 days after opening.
